Commission by source

You pay less when you bring the booking.

Source-based pricing rewards your own marketing. The commission only goes up when VineSeat or a partner site delivers the guest.

Other platforms tack on $4–$8 booking fees that hit your guest at checkout — fees you don't see until your most loyal club member calls to complain. We don't do that. The price you set is the price your guest pays.

FAQ

Pricing questions, answered.

Is there a setup fee or contract?
Neither. VineSeat is month-to-month. You can cancel anytime — no penalties, no clawbacks.
What does Stripe charge me?
Stripe charges its standard 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. We don't add to it or take a cut of it. Stripe is paid directly via your own Stripe Connect account.
What's included in the free trial?
All features on either tier for 14 days. No credit card required to start. You can take real bookings during the trial — we just don't charge subscription fees until day 15.
Can I switch tiers later?
Yes. Move between Standard and Pro anytime from your dashboard. Changes prorate from the next billing cycle.
Do you take a commission on wine sales or add-ons?
Only on the booking transaction itself (deposit, tasting fee, add-ons sold through the booking flow). Wine club sales, retail, and on-site purchases that happen outside the reservation are entirely yours.
What happens to my commission if a guest cancels?
Refunds follow your cancellation policy. When a refund is issued, the commission is refunded proportionally — you only pay commission on revenue you actually keep.
Do you support multiple locations?
Yes. Each location can be its own partner account on the same plan, or you can run multiple locations under one account with shared branding and reporting.
How does the referral channel discount work?
Wineries that maintain a premium listing on a WCM partner site (NapaValley.com, Sonoma.com, etc.) get reduced commission on bookings driven from those sites. Final rate is set when you activate the channel.

Most wineries land on Standard, then graduate to Pro when their volume crosses ~$15K/mo in bookings.
