    Conversion tracking

Every booking, traced to the click.

Most booking widgets break your analytics at the iframe. VineSeat carries the visit across, so the ad or post that started it gets the credit.

    1. 1
      A guest clicks

Your Google ad, a newsletter link or an Instagram post, tagged with UTMs or an ad click ID.

    2. 2
      Your widget carries it across

The booking window opens on VineSeat, so the widget brings the click IDs, UTM tags and Google Analytics visitor along.

    3. 3
      The booking is confirmed

VineSeat records the source, medium and campaign on the reservation. That is your source of truth.

    4. 4
      Your tools hear about it

Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel on your site get the purchase with its value. Add your keys and it is sent server-side too.

Purchase carries the booking value, currency and reservation ID, so browser and server events count once.

    No developer needed

If your site already runs GA4, Google Tag Manager or the Meta Pixel, the widget hands it the events. GTM needs one tag.

    Clean data on partner sites

A booking from an affiliate’s site is credited to that affiliate and kept out of your own GA4, so your ad numbers aren’t inflated.

    Partners see their own results

Add an affiliate’s GA4 or Meta Pixel to their channel and the bookings they send fire in their tools, not yours.

    Reporting

    FAQ

    Questions about distribution.

Want to see it on your own experiences? We’ll walk you through it.

    Talk to our team
Do bookings from every channel land on one calendar?

Yes. Your website, the VineSeat marketplace, affiliates and GetYourGuide all book the same open times. A seat sold on one channel is gone from the others right away.

Which travel marketplaces can I list on?

GetYourGuide today, with more marketplaces coming. Turn an experience on in Marketing › Marketplaces, then map it in your GetYourGuide account.

    Who sets prices on GetYourGuide?

Your VineSeat prices and open times are sent to GetYourGuide and update when they change. GetYourGuide takes the payment and pays you, under your own agreement with them. VineSeat charges no fee on those bookings.

    How do affiliates get paid?

Commission is recorded when the booking is made and paid through Stripe after the guest visits. If the booking is cancelled before the visit, nothing is paid. You set the rate and which experiences each affiliate can sell.

Can I keep an experience off the marketplace?

Yes. Set it to Private and it’s hidden from the marketplace, but still bookable through a direct share link or your widget.

Will bookings show up in my Google Analytics?

Yes. If your site runs GA4, Google Tag Manager or the Meta Pixel, the widget sends view, checkout and purchase events with the booking value. GTM needs one tag to pass them to GA4. You can add your IDs in Settings › Tracking as well.

Why does GA4 show fewer bookings than VineSeat?

Ad blockers and browser privacy settings stop some events in the browser. Adding your keys in Settings › Tracking sends purchases server-side too, which closes much of the gap. VineSeat’s own count is the source of truth.

Can I track partners who send guests without a commission?

Yes. Add a referral placement in Marketing › Referral Partners, put its widget code on the partner’s site, and bookings come back credited to them. Tracking only, no money involved.

Can I track referrals from club members?

Yes. Give each member their own placement and share its link. Bookings made within 30 days of clicking it are credited to that member in your reservations and Analytics.
